Pumps & Mechanical Services Co. Ltd. is a family owned business started by Andrew Dowding 30+ years ago. Having a passion for the operation of mechanical components and a back ground in agriculture and farming, he found a niche for assisting the hotel sector and up and coming residential homes with their water related issues.
Starting as a one man crew to clean, administer chemicals to swimming pools, repair pump problems and any other related issues they may have, today, the business has expanded to a 20 man crew, working with many hotels, commercial buildings and private residences on the island as well as overseas. The company specializes in in maintenance and repairs of, as well as the supply and installation of equipment, hydraulics and electrics to newly constructed pools, spas, ponds, potable water systems, sewage systems and well water systems. Additionally, we offer a wide range of repairs and replacements to existing systems.
To compliment, we established two retail stores – our main branch at The Garden, St. James and another at Skyway Plaza, Christ Church- for added convenience. We retail in sanitation & purification chemicals, pumps (for various applications), filters, lights, transformers and much more along with offering free advice to the do it yourself individual.
